Bland AI pricing should be evaluated as a plan plus a call workload. At this review, the official page lists a Start AI conversation rate of $0.14 per minute, and a Build rate of $0.12 per minute with a $299 monthly platform fee. What the rate covers
The page says the AI rate includes the language model, transcription and generated speech. Telephone charges remain separate. It also distinguishes transfer pricing and BYOT terms, so use the conditions for your actual carrier arrangement rather than applying one transfer rate to every deployment.

Calculate the fixed-fee tradeoff
Using only the published conversation rates above, Build saves $0.02 per conversation minute relative to Start while adding $299 monthly. The arithmetic break-even for that fee alone is 14,950 minutes: $299 divided by $0.02.
That is not a recommendation to upgrade at exactly that volume. Different limits, support needs, transfer usage and other plan features can change the decision. It simply demonstrates why a lower usage rate does not automatically produce a lower total bill.

Ask how unanswered attempts, silence, minimum billing increments and overlapping legs are treated under your arrangement. Obtain a quote for the countries and call patterns you actually expect.
Compare with another platform fairly
Do not compare Bland's bundled AI rate with Burki's or another platform's fee before adding the other product's separately charged providers. Conversely, avoid adding a second model estimate to Bland's included AI components.
